Man pleads guilty to Bognor Regis burglary

A MAN has pleaded guilty to breaking into one home and attempting to break into another in Bognor Regis.

Tomasz Lebiedziewicz, 34, unemployed from Durlston Drive, was arrested on September 10 and charged with burglary.

Lebiedziewicz admitted attempting to breaking into a flat on North Street on July 16 and breaking into a property on Stoneage Close on August 24.

Detective Sergeant Kevin Scullion said: “We are very pleased Lebiedziewicz has been caught and will be brought to justice, but I would urge local residents to be vigilant in securing their homes.

“In particular when away from home make sure that all doors and windows are always locked.”

Lebiedziewicz pleaded guilty at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on September 11. He will be sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on October 12.
