Man rescued following Barnham car crash

A man had to be rescued from the wreckage of a car which had crashed in Barnham.

The male was trapped in the vehicle which had ended up on its roof in a field off Barnham Lane at 3.10am this morning (Tuesday, July 29).

He was assessed at the scene by paramedics who helped firefighters to get him out of the car before he was taken to St Richard's Hospital for treatment

Three other people in the car - two women and another man - had got out before the emergency services arrived.
