Man robbed at knifepoint in Goring seafront shelter

Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery of a 40 year old man from Worthing, who was attacked in the seafront shelter, at the bottom of Alinora Ave, Goring on Wednesday, May 29.

The victim had been walking along the seafront and had stopped in a seafront shelter when the robbery took place between 6.00pm and 7.30pm.

He was approached by three men and threatened with a knife. They then stole his black Burberry Sports watch. Two of the men spoke with what are described as Eastern European accents. All wore dark coloured tracksuits, and one wore a woolly hat.

The victim was shocked but was not injured.
