Man seals raffle prize

A ROSE GREEN resident has won a raffle to help to stop the slaughter of seals.

Tony Bird scooped the life-sized sculpture of a baby seal at West's Wood Show in Selham.

The sculpture, about 2ft long, raised 206 when it was raffled in aid of the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

It was crafted in elm by Aldwick resident Paul Bignell, who also teaches wood carving at Bognor Regis Community College.
