Man seriously injured following collision in Horley

Police were called to the collision, involving a pedestrian and a blue Honda Jazz, in Victoria Road around 5.25pm.

The car driver was uninjured.

The road was currently closed while police dealt with the incident.

A SECAmb spokesperson said, “At 5.30 we were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian. We sent one ambulance and one car to the scene.

“The patient, who had suffered potentially serious injuries, was treated and taken to St George’s Hospital, in South London.”
