Man sexually assaulted in Lewes shop

Police are appealing for help to find a man they wish to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in a Lewes shop.

The victim was working in Homebase on Brooks Road on Friday, April 8 when he was approached by the suspect at around 7pm.

The suspect touched the victim on his bottom twice before being escorted from the shop.

Investigator Mark Carter said: “We have CCTV and are appealing to anyone who recognises the man to get it touch.

“The suspect is described as a white, aged between 25 and 35 with dark brown curly hair, wearing a grey coat, back pack, and dark jeans.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on [email protected] quoting serial 548 of 09/04.
