Man stabbed in Bexhill

ONE man was stabbed and another had his face slashed with a bottle at the weekend.

The incidents took place within 90 minutes of each other. Witnesses are being sought.

Police are trying to find out what happened when a man was stabbed near Pankhurst Rise.

The knife attack took place at 5pm on Saturday.

A man was arrested and is currently on police bail.

The victim did not suffer serious injury and released himself from hospital to take part in further enquires on Sunday morning.

Then at around 6.30pm, a bottle was pushed into the face of a 24-year-old man during a scuffle at the junction of London Road and Little Common Road, near the Viking fish and chip shop.

Sgt Dave Bristow said: "He received quite serious injuries, but not life-threatening.

"It is suspected that two men and a woman may have been involved in the incident."
