Man struck by car in Worthing

Police were called to a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Tarring Road, Worthing, at around 6.15pm yesterday.

A man in his 20s had been crossing the road, close to the junction with Clifton Road when the incident occurred, according to Sussex Police.

Paramedics were in attendance and police said the man was taken to Worthing Hospital with minor injuries.
