A post mortem examination on Thursday was inconclusive and further toxicology tests are due to be carried out to try and determine the cause of death.

The man has been released on bail pending further enquiries and will report back to detectives on February 10.

Forensic investigators remain at the scene today.

Shocked locals in Shelby Road said the couple "kept themselves to themselves" and were not well known in the area.
