Man taken to hospital with leg injury after A24 crash

A man suffered a serious leg injury after his car left the road on the A24 near Ashington yesterday (Monday April 18).

Emergency services were called after the black BMW left the dual carriageway at about 5.30pm, a spokesperson for Sussex Police said.

The driver, a 34-year-old man from Lancing, was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
