Man treated for smoke inhalation following Rustington fire

A MAN needed treatment from paramedics after a fire broke out in his home.

Fire crews from East Preston were called to a small fire in the ground-floor kitchen of a house in Oakhurst Gardens, Rustington, at 7.30pm on Sunday (March 14).

Although the blaze, which had started accidentally, was out when they arrived, they ventilated the room, and the resident was given oxygen therapy for mild smoke inhalation.
