Man tries to stealpuppy from home
POLICE are hunting a man who tried to steal a puppy from the garden of a home at New Winchelsea Road, Rye, last Saturday morning.
A man walked down the side of the house after pulling up in a blue Transit van but was stopped by the owner.
He is described as over 6ft tall, unshaven, very thin and wearing a dark baseball cap.
