Police are trying to trace a man who is wanted for breaching the conditions of a court order.
Malcolm Smith, 35, (pictured) is wanted by Sussex Police officers.
The conditions of his order included a requirement to live at approved premises in Portsmouth in Hampshire.
Smith is formerly from Hastings.
He is believed to be in the county of East Sussex and is suspected of two recent shoplifting offences in Rye.
Police believe he may have been travelling on trains between Rye and Hastings.
Smith is described as white and around six feet tall in height.
He is of slim build and with a shaven head.
Witnesses and anyone recognising him or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 101, quoting serial 1173 of 2/12.
