Man wanted in connection with Uckfield burglaries

Sussex Police would like to identify this man in connection with two burglaries in Uckfield.

Officers received a report of a burglary at a property in Roman Way, believed to have occurred between 1.30pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 14.

A gold brooch with a turquoise stone, three pairs of cuff-links and two gold necklaces – one with an oval shaped pendant – were reported as stolen from the property.

Officers then received a report of a second burglary in Browns Lane, Uckfield, which happened between 3.45pm and 6pm on the same day.

The home owners reported five watches, a Tiffany necklace, two Pandora bracelets with charms, a black handbag, a number of rings, £170 and around €120 in cash and a plain silver bangle as missing from the property.

The suspect was described as a white man, aged between 20 and 30 and wearing jeans, a jumper, light coloured trainers and black gloves.

It is believed the suspect may have connections to Surrey and the two incidents are believed to be linked.
