Market provides monthly boost for church
HISTORIC Winchelsea Church held the first of it’s monthly markets of the year on Saturday.
The markets have become something of a town institution since being started some years ago by a small group of volunteers.
They offer local produce and home-made goods, the sale of which helps pay for the upkeep of the church.
The markets also provide an opportunity for people to get together over a cup of tea or coffee.
