Market will open soon in Yapton's hall

Vintage and Veg will be taking place in the village hall on the first Friday of each month from August 2.

It will be packed with traditional vintage-style crafts and locally-sourced produce such as eggs, plants, organically-grown vegetables and delicious 
savoury pies.

The market is being organised by the Aldingbourne Trust based near Fontwell.

Trust organisers Jo Rea and Gill Hunter say there is room for more stall-holders to join the first ones to join in.

Jo said: “We are really excited about this new opportunity to promote not only the trust’s own home grown produce and handmade items but also those of local produce and bespoke crafts.

“We are looking forward to welcoming everyone in the local community to our new and exciting vintage and veg village market.”
