Markets help to keep hall running
A MONTHLY market at Northiam Village hall is playing an important role in helping with the upkeep of the building. The market takes place on the last Friday of each month from 9am - noon.
On sale are crafts, local produce and home-made food. Organiser Margaret Jones said: “The markets have been running for four months now and are going really well.
“We need to raise £8,000 to cover the cost of a new heating system in the hall. The markets also provide a social function where people can catch up over a cup of tea or coffee.”
