MAY fundraises on 80th birthday
MAY Hickmott used her 80th birthday celebrations to raise funds for the 1066 Specials over the weekend.
May contacted the club, which gives people with special needs and disabilities the opportunity to play football and receive expert coaching, after hearing about The Specials' recent Spring Fete and Tournament.
Family and friends were asked to make donations to the Specials rather than give gifts, raising 200.
May is pictured along with husband John presenting a cheque to members, coaches, and committee members of the club.
