The May Fair will take place at Bishopstone Parish Hall.
The hall was originally built as a village school in 1849.
The school was closed in 1944 and the building was eventually purchased for £600 and passed to a committee of trustees in 1958 to be used as a Village Hall.
A spokeswoman for the committee which runs the hall said the facility depends on regular use, and community volunteers.
She said: “Since 1958 when the building was converted to community use, it has always been funded and managed by community volunteers.
“It is an independent facility, dependent on regular use, the generosity of the local community and the time given by committee members past and present to sustain its place in the life of the parish.
“The hall is regularly used every week by The Bishopstone Table Tennis Group, Jester’s Table Tennis Group, Art Group and a Yoga Group.
“It is an ideal venue for fund raising events from fetes, whist drives, quizzes and popular talks by local historians.”
The hall can be hired out for hourly, morning, afternoon, evening and daily to suit all needs.
To hire or make enquiries about the hall you can contact the booking secretary on 01323 895568.
All proceeds from the fair will go towards the upkeep of The Bishopstone Parish Hall.
