Mazda scores top five ranking for customer satisfaction

Available from Lifestyle Mazda the Mazda CX-5 achieved an 89.63% score in the Auto Express magazine 2013 Driver Power Survey, the largest and most comprehensive poll of car owners in the UK. Already crowned ‘Best Crossover’ in last year’s Auto Express New Car Awards, the CX-5, which can be viewed at Lifestyle showrooms in Crawley, Eastbourne and Horsham, was ranked in the top 50 in all categories and recorded its highest rankings for in-car technology, ease of driving and ride quality.

“The Mazda brand also improved its ranking dramatically, jumping to fourth place (from 12th last year) – a testament to Mazda’s sixth generation cars with innovative fuel-saving SKYACTIV technology,” comments Mark Spowage, dealer principal at Lifestyle Mazda.

“In total, five Mazda models featured in the Top 100 cars list – Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda CX-5, Mazda MX-5 and Mazda6. The Mazda MX-5, the world best-selling two seater sports car, contributed to Mazda’s success with a noticeably high score for ‘handling’, while the Mazda3 hatchback scored highly in the ‘practicality’ category,” adds Mr Spowage.

Auto Express editor in chief Steve Fowler stated: “This is an extremely comprehensive survey which is very significant for the car manufacturers and customers and Mazda has made great strides forward over the past 12 months.” This year Auto Express polled some 46,000 car owners covering more than 30 manufacturers, over 200 models and some 17,000 cars three years old or under.

It turns Mazda into an environmentally friendly choice for all our customers in Sussex who can now get the best of both worlds – fun-to-drive cars with low emissions, without compromising performance. This unique Mazda technology means they can get from A-to-B with smiles on their faces while still being responsible and very efficient,” concludes Mr Spowage.

The Mazda CX-5 model range features an 18-strong line-up with prices from £21,395 to £28,995 (OTR). Customers are offered a choice of three engines (165ps petrol and 150ps or 175ps diesel), manual and automatic transmissions, 2-wheel drive or All-wheel drive (AWD) and two equipment levels – SE-L and Sport, with or without Sat Nav.

Lifestyle Mazda is offering a choice of 36 Mazda6 saloon and tourer models with three equipment levels (SE, SE-L and Sport – with or without Satellite Navigation) and four high-efficiency SKYACTIV diesel and petrol powertrains (from 145 to 175ps) with six-speed automatic or manual transmissions. Prices range from £19,595 to £28,045 (on-the-road).
