Meat stolen from Shoreham Marks and Spencer

MORE THAN £400 of meat was taken from a Shoreham Marks and Spencer last month.

Today (October 5), police released a CCTV picture of a man they want to speak with after someone pushed a trolley containing £415 out of the shop branch in the Holmbush Centre.

Officers were called at 2.20pm on September 16 to a report a man had tried to make off with around £415 worth of meat.

“The suspect left the store at about 1pm with a trolley full of items without paying and was approached by security guards in the car park. He then abandoned the trolley and ran off, leaving the meat behind,” said a police spokeswoman.

Response investigator Tracy Wilson said: “We would also like to speak with anyone who may have seen something suspicious on the day.”
