Eastbourne Police along with the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership will be at this weekend’s Magnificent Motors in Eastbourne to give advice on road safety and to promote Operation Crackdown, Community Speedwatch and vehicle security.
Sergeant Fiona Munro said, “Operation Crackdown is a great way for the community to take control of anti-social driving, providing an opportunity to report directly about poor driving and driving offences such as using a mobile phone.
“We are looking forward to speaking to car owners and fanatics alike about keeping their vehicles safe and hopefully, recruiting some volunteers to join our Community Speedwatch Scheme.”
Magnificent Motors takes place on Western Lawns on Saturday and Sunday (May 2-3) with more than 500 vintage and classic cars on display from 10am to 5pm. Entrance is free.
