Visitors to Seaford Farmers’ Market will have the chance to take part in Meet the Producers if they turn up between 9.30am to 10pm before the market opens.
For example they might like to find out where the products are from, how they are made and where they are made.
The market is also offering this service to Seaford school children so they find out about the local produce available in the area, what fresh local produce tastes like and how it is grown.
They will be able to sample locally made cheeses, locally made preserves, local fruit and vegetables, oils, fudge and much more.
Organisers have also come up with a weekly raffle so one lucky customer each week will win a £30 hamper.
Every customer that visits the market before 12.30pm will get a ticket, available from the Farmers’ Market Cafe.
The draw takes place at 1.45pm each Thursday.
Organisers said the market was a huge hit with Seaford residents and people from surrounding areas.
Customers could sample fabulous cheeses from the award winning dairy The High Weald Dairy, Stratta with their award winning oils and scented vinegars, homemade Indian curries and samosas, homemade savouries, organic fruit and veg from Brambletye Farm, organic eggs, fresh apple juice and homemade preserves from Sussex Kitchen.
There were also cup cakes from the jam queen, and gluten free cakes and delicious fudge.
