Meeting webcast is first

A MEETING about the regeneration of Bognor Regis will be seen live on the internet.

The full meeting of Arun District Council, at 6pm on March 20, will be its first to be the subject of a webcast.

The decision has been made by the council because of the large amount of interest in the subjects to be discussed.

These will include approving the next step in the St Modwen regeneration proposals for the town.

The protection of Swansea Gardens sports site is also expected to be ratified.

Arun chief executive Nigel Lynn said the webcast would enable anyone with internet access to follow the debate.
