Memorial for Pevensey MP killed by a car bomb

A MEMORIAL for a former MP who represented constituents in parts of South Wealden District before his untimely death from a car bomb 20 years ago has now been officially remembered with a plaque specially created in his honour above the door to the main chamber area of the House of Commons.

Ian Gow, the MP for Eastbourne including Pevensey, died on July 30, 1990.
