Men charged over Bognor burglary

THREE men arrested on Friday (March 29) following an aggravated burglary in Collyer Avenue, Bognor Regis, have been charged.

It is alledged the men forced their way in to the property around 4.45pm and stabbed a 22-year-old man in the hand before leaving with cannabis plants.

Police officers followed the car in which the suspects were travelling, until it came to a stop on the A29 Ockley.

Gabriel Matthew Jordan, 26, a telecommunications employee of Swinburne Court, Basingdon Way, London has been charged with conspiring to commit robbery, possession with intent to supply cannabis and dangerous driving.

Simon Peter Wright, 29, unemployed of Stansfield Road, London has been charged with conspiring to commit robbery, possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of cocaine.

Jeremiah Davis, 30, a transport driver from Frank Mews, London has been charged with conspiring to commit robbery and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

All three have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 1.
