Methodist choir cheers shoppers

FOLLOWING a long-held tradition, Bexhill's Methodist choristers delighted pre-Christmas shoppers with a tuneful selection of traditional carols at Sackville Road Church last Thursday morning.

The singers, blessed by bright sunshine, collected 150 for the charity Action For Children.

The carol-singing was led by the Minister, the Rev Peter Timms, with Gerald Witts on the organ and John Black providing the amplification equipment.
