Mewsbrook Park hosts a day of fun

FUN, games and, hopefully, a bright spell of sunshine will combine to generate some much-needed cash for two vital charities.

Littlehampton’s award-winning Mewsbrook Park will be the setting of a charity fun day on Sunday (August 18), with plenty of action for all the family promised.

The event will be raising cash for Littlehampton-based disabilities charity Enable Me and Breast Cancer UK.

The fundraiser will kick-off from 11.30am and will last all day until 5.30pm.

A whole host of activities for the family to get their teeth stuck into is planned, from a zorbing arena and stall games, to an assault course and human giro.

Pro Coaching Football Academy will be on hand throughout the day for those wishing to have a punt at goal during a penalty shoot-out and skills display.

Live music will also feature at the event, with rockers Sticky Fingers providing some of the tunes, along with the day’s compère, Studio One Disco.

The event is co-ordinated by David Chace, of Chace Catering.
