Mid Sussex roads blocked by floods and fallen trees

Various roads in Mid Sussex have been blocked due to fallen trees and flooding overnight.

Among those affected are:

A22 London Road in East Grinstead closed in both directions between the Sackville Lane junction and the Dorset Avenue junction, because of a fallen tree.

A272 in Haywards Heath closed in both directions around the B2112 Hazelgrove Road junction, because of flooding.

A272 in Ansty blocked in both directions around the B2036 junction, because of a fallen tree.

A281 closed in both directions between Village Hall roundabout in Cowfold and the B2116 Albourne Road junction in Henfield, because of flooding.

B2115 Staplefield Road in Cuckfield closed at the Deak’s Lane junction, because of a fallen tree.

Garden Wood Road in East Grinstead blocked in both directions between the Heathcote Drive junction and the B2110 Brooklands Way junction, because of a fallen tree.

Mill Road in Burgess Hill closed at the B2113 Station Road junction, because of a fallen tree.
