Middleton newsagents is robbed at knife point

Police have appealed for witnesses after staff were threatened with a knife during a robbery in Middleton.

A man entered Peters Newsagents, in Middleton Road about 5.35pm on Saturday, July 30.

Armed with a knife, he demanded money from staff. He took £2,000 and ran off.

The staff were shaken but unhurt.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 6ins with a tanned complexion wearing a grey hooded top and dark glasses with dark tinted lenses.
