Middleton opens its gardens to public

Well over 20 gardens around Middleton will be open for charity on June 14.

The Middleton-on-Sea Association is holding its latest open gardens day between 10.30am and 5pm. Owners of 26 plots will be allowing in visitors to raise money for the St Richard's Hospital cancer day unit appeal and St Wilfrid's Hospice.

Plenty of refreshments, cakes and plant stalls will be available. Tickets, at 4 each, are on sale at Peters Newsagents in the village and at 24 West Close, Middleton.

Free parking and toilets at Jubilee Hall car park in the village centre and Middleton Sports Club in Sea Lane.
