Midhurst and Petworth firefighters release women trapped after A272 crash

Firefighters from Midhurst, Petworth and Chichester helped release two women who were trapped after a car crash on the A272.

Crews were called to the scene of the crash involving two cars at Fox Hill on Sunday, September 6 at 10pm.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the women, who were taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester.

It took just under an hour to make the scene safe.
