Midhurst firefighters struggle to get to fire due to parked cars

Yesterday afternoon (August 22), Midhurst Fire Station tweeted that it was called out to reports of a shed fire at a domestic property in Haslemere.
It turned out to be a false alarm due to a controlled burning.

Hide AdHowever, the fire station team added: "Sadly we experienced difficulty gaining access to the address of a reported fire earlier which delayed us arriving at scene.
"Please think and park responsibly you never know where you might need us."
Shortly before this incident, the fire engine was called out to a fire alarm sounding at a care home in Kingsley Green. Crews investigated and found it to be a system fault.
