All Tandem activities including taking people to medical and dental appointments, on outings, social activities at the Tandem Tuesday Club and a Housebound Reader Service, are provided by volunteers and most journeys are in their own cars but Tandem has vehicles equipped to take wheelchairs.

It’s bid for DFT Community Transport Minibus funding was successful and approval has been given for two new vehicles to replace older or damaged ones. The conversion was done by Atlas Conversions. Volunteer drivers are needed urgently. Anyone who is interested should contact 01730 813962.
