The invitation comes after Midhurst’s German friends visited the town last June and the return visit will take place from Thursday, May 5-Monday May 9. The group will fly from Gatwick to Stuttgart staying with families and a programme of entertainment will be organised.

The cost for each visitor will be £80.

Organiser Colin Hughes said: “Midhurst has had a special friendship with Baiersbronn for 30 years. In that time many hundreds of people have enjoyed the friendship, hospitality and beautiful countryside of both towns.
