Mike weathers the storm to finish ride
A FUNDRAISING cyclist battled through ‘awful’ weather conditions to complete an 86-mile cycle ride for a hearing loss charity.
Father-of-three Mike Knight, 47, of The Ridings, East Preston, has so far raised £750 for Action on Hearing Loss.
Mike said: “After about an hour, the heavens opened and it absolutely tipped down and it rained solidly for the duration of the ride. There was flooding on the course – we were riding through a foot of water at times, it made it quite challenging.”
