Missing Anton Newman '˜could be sleeping rough' in Brighton. Have you seen him?

Sussex Police said a missing Hove man could be sleeping rough or living in a tent in woodland in the Brighton area.

Anton Newman was last seen on Sunday (July 15) at 11.37am in Nevill Avenue, Hove, police said.

PC Alisa Funnell said: “We are concerned for Anton’s welfare. He may be sleeping rough or in a tent in woodland in the Brighton area. If anyone has seen him or knows where he may be, please let us know.”

He is described as white, 6’ 1”, slim, with shaved hair, a pale complexion and was last seen wearing a cream jumper, blue jeans and black socks and no shoes. He may now be wearing shoes.

He has links to Brighton and Hove and the St Anne’s Day Centre in St James’ Street, Brighton.
