Missing Eastbourne pensioner found safe

A pensioner who went missing from Eastbourne has been found safe, police have confirmed.

Gary Thomas Jones, 78, who suffers from dementia, diabetes and Parkinson’s, went missing at 11am on Thursday (July 2), after leaving his care home in the town.

Sussex Police confirmed today (Friday, July 3), that he has been found safe and well

A spokesman added: “Thank you to everyone who helped in the search for him.”
