Missing make-up artist - police search Ashdown Forest

POLICE are searching the Ashdown Forest following the disappearance of a make-up artist.

Diane Chenery-Wickens, 48, from Duddleswell near Crowborough, was last seen in London.

Yesterday (Thursday) her husband David was arrested on suspicion of murder and interviewed in Eastbourne by police.

Mrs Chenery-Wickens and her husband went from East Grinstead to London by train at 11am on Thursday last week.

Mrs Chenery-Wickens, a freelance make-up artist, was going to a business meeting at the BBC.

She was wearing brown suede jacket, brown calf length boots, blue jeans and a black scarf.

The make-up artist had worked on a number of popular BBC TV shows.
