Monday evening - one of the many tributes to Derek Norcross who died on Friday

It was with great shock we heard the news about Derek's untimely deathin such tragic circumstances. He was an amazing man, known by so manyfor his dedicated hard work for the community, particularly for childrenand young people. He was the gold standard in serving others. Neverone to be on an organisation for the sake of it, but was always there tomake a positive difference - and he did. He will be sorely missed.He was well-known in Robertsbridge, always seen with his grandchildren,whom he clearly adored. I hope, in their grief, his family will be ableto draw some comfort from the enormous legacy of good he has left.Cllr Sue Prochak
