Money tree project to help young people in Worthing

YOUNG people could benefit from a share of £20,000 as part of the council’s Money Tree initiative.

Projects by, and for, young people in Worthing are eligible to apply for either a small pot of up to £500 or a large pot of up to £2,500.

All project ideas must be focused on the following ideas: stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, achieve economic well-being and make a positive contribution.

Projects must also promote a positive image of young people.

The winners in 2013 were Davison Youth University with £4,500, Worthing Kids and Dapper Snapper with £1,590 and 2nd Durrington Sea Scouts with £4,000.
