More food given to Bognor Regis Food Bank

VOLUNTEERS collected well over a ton of groceries to enable the new Bognor Regis Food Bank to start.

Among those who received the mass of provisions from generous shoppers at Morrisons was the town mayor.

Cllr Jim Brooks offered to help out last Friday after he attended the Food Bank’s official launch the week before.

The service’s helpers were delighted by the response to their second collection.

Added to the result of their first collection, they have enough food to start distribution from the Vineyard Church office in Waterloo Square once the vouchers have been handed out to agencies such as the Citizen’s Advice Bureau. Dates, days and times will be published soon.
