Eastbourne police made three significant arrests for drug dealing yesterday (May 14).

Two men were arrested in a drug policing operation in Firle Road at midday.

Terrell Davis, 21, of Blenheim Gardens, London, and Paul Nolan, 32, of St Aubyns Road, Eastbourne, were charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, worth £2,000, and were set to appear before Brighton magistrates court today (May 15).

A 46-year-old taxi driver was also arrested after passing officers smelled cannabis at a service station in Eastbourne Road on Thursday evening.

His taxi was searched and three bags of cannabis, worth £40,000, were found in the boot of the taxi, and £80,000 worth of cocaine was also recovered. He was arrested for possession with intent to supply and is in custody.

Chief Inspector Emma Brice said, “Police respond to the needs of the community by proactively policing areas where there are reports of drug dealing. If anyone has any concerns about crime in their neighbourhood they should contact police.”
