More that 25 years of helping others
SUSAN Preston recently left Rye Day Centre after 26 years of volunteering there.
She attended one or two sessions every week and was a bus escort for seven years. Her happy disposition and sensitivity were appreciated by all at the Centre and she was a great support to others. Sue did lots of shopping in Rye for many of her contacts and became well known in the community. She was also involved in fund raising by making cakes and toys for sale. Sue was sad to leave but takes with her fond memories.
