It was revealed that Wojcik had 93 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. The legal limit is 35 so she was nearly three times over the limit.

Wojcik pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving with no insurance when she appeared before Hastings magistrates in court on Tuesday.

The incident happened on May 24.

Diane Mounir, defending, said: "On the previous day she received bad news about her two-year-old son. Her car she was driving, which was fully insured, also broke down and later had to be scrapped.
