Motorbike and lorry collide in Newhaven

A motorcyclist received injuries to his wrist and pelvis following a collision between his motorbike and a lorry in Newhaven this morning.

The Seaford Road (A259) was closed in both directions after the incident, which happened at 11.40am on Thursday January 24.

The motorcyclist, who was in his 20s, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

The road was reported to be clear again by 12.15pm.
