Motorcycle crash leaves two injured near Littlehampton station

TWO people were injured in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car near Littlehampton railway station on Saturday morning (June 29).

The 19-year-old motorcyclist and his 20-year-old female pillion passenger, both from Wick, were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries after the Kawasaki motorbike they were travelling on was in collision with a blue Ford Fiesta in Terminus Road, near the junction with Howard Road, at about 8.45am.

Police and emergency services arrived at the scene and found the rider and his passenger lying in the road. The rider suffered pelvis injuries and his passenger a fractured femur.

The Ford Fiesta driver, a 24-year-old woman from Surrey, was uninjured.
