Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after Cripps Corner collision

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after an accident left him with serious injuries.

According to the police a car overtook a campervan near to the junction with Beacon Lane on the B2089 east of Cripps Corner at around 10.25am yesterday (Sunday, July 22).

An oncoming motorcyclist lost control and received serious injuries. He was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Police are investigating the collision and would like to hear from the occupants of two vehicles, a light coloured campervan and a car which were travelling eastbound.
