Motorcyclist dies in A259 collision
A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a collision on the A259 near Climping yesterday afternoon (Sunday, August 25).
The incident, involving a car and motorcycle, occurred at 1.56pm, on the A259 at Crookthorn Lane, near the Yapton Road junction.
The motorcyclist, a local man, sadly died.
The road was closed for several hours, in both directions, before being re-opened at 7.20pm.
Police are now appealing for witnesses, and are conducting an investigation into the collision.
