Motorcyclist hurt in accident

A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after his bike collided with a car in Nyetimber on Monday night.

At around 7.35pm a Vauxhall Omega, driven by a 57-year-old man from Bognor Regis, collided with the Suzuki 750c motorcycle driven by 38-year-old man, also from Bognor.

The motorcyclist was taken to St Richard's Hospital with serious injuries while the car driver was also treated at the Chichester hospital for slight injuries.
